A number of students have graduated, yet their
abilities are equivalent. We do not have a university that releases the
students out to the job market, but we have a plenty of universities in a
country around the globe. In my point of view, this is dilemma at this stage as
a university student to compete with other graduates. Trying to step out from
the crowd is a great initiative for student like us to do so. By having said
that, we must look for experiences during our studies at a university. Regardless
whatever course of study we take, we must expose ourselves in any other
activities both within and out of the university.
In this entry, I will share with you what we can do
in order to gain an experience according to Lewis Humphries.
2. Volunteering and Vocational Work: Experiences gained in the nonprofit sector or an entry level role that is related to our career of choice can significantly boost our appeal in the eyes of employers, primarily because they build our strength of character and reveal an innate desire to work.
3. Consider Offering a Service or Establishing an Independent Venture: This will enable us to gain first-hand experience of managing a professional project and selling a marketable service, without compromising on our academic studies.
